The Antigua and Barbuda Sport Fishing Club is pleased to announce Weather Routing, Inc. (WRI) as sponsor to the 2011 Fishing Tournament. WRI is a private forecasting company specializing in marine weather since 1961.

They provide marine weather forecasts and routing advice for fishing tournaments worldwide. For over 50 years, WRI has established a firm reputation as the world leader in yacht forecasting. They take their jobs seriously, knowing that their clients' lives and property depend on their forecasts.

Senior meteorologist Mark Neiswender says ‘Our individually prepared forecasts are customized specifically for your vessel's needs and location, and WRI meteorologists are available for consultation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When it comes to competitive angling, one must consider a multitude of environmental factors including wind/sea state, water temperature, surface currents, climatology, and tropics. We are delighted to provide this service to competitors in the 45th Edition of the Antigua and Barbuda Sport Fishing Tournament and 1st Antigua and Barbuda Marlin Classic’.

Entrants to the event will benefit from their own login to the service, and five lucky winners will also receive six months subscription to the online weather forecast at . Weather reports will be available each morning and will be emailed to participants so that they can check the latest conditions before choosing their fishing grounds for the day.
